What is respect? Respect is having regard for the feelings, wishes, or rights of others.
- When a teacher calls out to you, stop what you are doing and go to the teacher.
- Use appropriate language at school, especially 'please', 'thank you' and use the person's name.
- Use eye contact when you are being spoken to or when you are talking to someone else.
- Treat others the way you would like to be treated.
- Communicate kindly to your friends if you don't like what they are doing. For example, "I really don't like it when you side tackle me in soccer because it hurts my body and it doesn't follow our rules. Please don't do it again".
