This lesson revolves around the expectations at the end of the day, responding appropriately in the classroom and being kind in the playground.
Be respectful in the classroom:
Put your hand up when you want to contribute to class discussions. Listen to others. Look after classroom resources. Use manners.
Be fair in the playground:
Include everyone in games. Treat everyone with kindness. Play by the rules. Play safely.
Be responsible at the end of the day:
When the bell goes, calmly get your bag and walk promptly to the school gate where you are getting collected, or walk directly to your bus line. Stay behind the gate until your parent arrives to collect you. Arrange with your parent before you leave home which gate they are meeting you at. If you are walking home without a parent, communicate this with the teacher on duty at the gate. Walk all bikes and scooters while on the school grounds.
