This lesson revolves around the expectations in the back playground and responding appropriately.
Explicit Expectations:
- Wait for the teacher on duty. Students to wait on the walkway near the pyramid or nearthe whale wall. Students in Q Block need to put their belongings away quickly andreturn to the bottom of the stairs to wait behind the red line.
- Always wear your hat.
- Stay in bounds. (Kingsley St side of Q Block is out of bounds)
- Play games fairly by including others, accepting when you are out and following the rules ofthe game.
- Use appropriate language and speak respectfully and calmly.
- Always keep hands and feet to yourself.
- You can get help from a teacher (in an orange vest) or a SLSO (in a yellow vest).
- Stop play as soon as the first bell rings and begin your 5 by 5 routine.
