Beach Acronychia is a member of the citrus family. It is often found in littoral and subtropical rainforests along the NSW and QLD coastline. The yellow fruit can be picked and eaten straight from the tree. It has a waxy outer skin and sour inner flesh with a round seed. The fruit ripens in winter and spring and is often enjoyed by rainbow lorikeets.
