Enrolment
Children may be enrolled in kindergarten providing that they have reached the age of 5 years by 31st July of that year.
To enrol at Byron Bay Public School, you will need to complete an enrolment form. This can now be completed online. Alternatively, you can pick up an enrolment package from the front office and complete a hard copy.
Once you have completed your enrolment application, you should now contact the school directly to make a time to progress your application. This will include bringing the following original documents to Byron Bay Public School's administration office:
- Identity documents e.g. birth certificate or passport
- Proof of address e.g. residential lease, utility bills, council rates notice
- Immunisation history statement
Depending on the particular circumstances of your child, you may also need to provide:
- Copies of medical/healthcare or emergency action plans
- Evidence of any disability or other support needs
- Copies of any family law or other relevant court orders
Special Religious Education and Special Education in Ethics is also part of your child's enrolment. Please complete our SRE/SEE form and return with your enrolment documents.
