To celebrate National Science Week, all Kindergarten students have recently completed a range of Science activities. We have been going to Robotics lessons in the STEM room and have been able to use the school’s new ‘Bluebots’ which involve learning basic coding and applying our mathematics knowledge of space and direction. We have also been collecting information about the weather each day and comparing the weather in Byron Bay to Hobart.
On Fun Fridays, some of us have been doing gardening! Deb has been helping us to get an insect hotel ready to be added to the garden, we have planted seeds and seedlings and have even started a new worm station. Kindergarten students have also been building and constructing using marble runs and Lego during Fun Fridays.
