This lesson revolves around expectations of students being responsible on the stairwells.
Explicit Expectations:
- Students are to walk on the stairwells.
- Students are to stay on the left hand side of the stairwells when walking up or down the stairwells, just like driving on the road.
- When it is playtimes, upstairs is out of bounds. If you have forgotten to get your hat, you must go to the hat tree. If you need a drink, you need to go to the bubbler.
- A red cone at the bottom of the stairs is a reminder that upstairs is out of bounds. It will only be put there during playtimes.
